Missouri Arts Council Missouri Touring Roster Directory.  


This means that your school, library or arts organization may be eligible to have 60% of Parasol Puppets' fee funded by the Missouri Arts Council.  This applies to our performances and our workshops. help you apply for funding through the Missouri Arts Council.  You must apply at least 2 months IN ADVANCE for funding. Start planning Christmas shows NOW and next Spring and Summer performances VERY SOON.

Missouri Arts Council  FY2010 Touring Monthly Grant Guidelines 

For Projects Occurring July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010

Who is Eligible for Touring Monthly Strategic Grants?  MAC accepts applications from the following types of organizations and/or agencies:
•  Arts or arts education organizations
• Public libraries
•  Chambers of commerce
•  Government agencies  
• Youth organizations
• Community arts organizations
•  Public school districts and private schools  
•  Social service organizations
•  Colleges and universities 
• Religious organizations   
     
To be eligible to apply for MAC funding, an organization must be a public or private organization that: 
     1.  Is Missouri-based and has a Missouri address.  Nonprofit corporations that are based in another state must be registered in Missouri as a Foreign Corporation, must have a Missouri address, and  must provide all MAC-funded arts activities in Missouri.
     2.  Is tax-exempt as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
     3.  Is incorporated as a Missouri not-for-profit corporation and maintain not-for-profit status by filing an annual registration report with the Secretary of State’s office. For more information, visit  www.sos.mo.gov/business or call Secretary of State’s Corporations Division at 573-751-4153.
     4.  Has a DUNS number.  If you do not have one, it is important that you begin the registration process  immediately. It is free to register and you are under no obligation to pay for additional services or  products.
      Organizations that receive a MAC grant must maintain these eligibility requirements through June 30, 2010.  

What Does Touring Fund? 
    Touring Monthly Strategic Grant supports 60% of the artistic fee (maximum $5,000) for organizations to  present performing artists from the Missouri Touring Roster Directory during fiscal year 2010   (July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010). The artistic fee is the negotiated fee for the artist(s) or  performing arts group(s) and may include related travel and per diem expenses. The intent of this program is to support artists touring to locations outside their home base. For  example, a St. Louis organization is not eligible to apply for a St. Louis area artist to perform.
