A Father who thinks he knows best and a Princess who knows her own heart are just two of the characters you will meet as Parasol Puppets proudly present their newest show, THE RAT PRINCESS. This lively 35-minute musical puppet show, created for the 2020 Summer Library Reading Program, features colorful hand puppets, lively music and lots of audience participation! This entertaining show is performed on a hand puppet stage. The stage is 7 feet tall and 4 feet wide, with the puppets appearing on a stage platform about 5 off the ground for clear visibility.

For more hands-on fun, we again offer to the libraries our 90-minute Shadow Puppet Workshop. Participants make simple shadow puppets and experiment with them behind several shadow stages.
Flashlights and shadow-casting materials such as translucent plastic plates and even some kitchen utensils make this workshop an exciting, interactive experience. Supplies provided.
